Getting started
- Stand your phone up about 2–3 meters away, facing you, with the front camera toward your workout space.
- Open SquatCounter and grant camera access when prompted.
- Step back until your whole body is in frame — the screen shows
“STEP BACK — CAN'T SEE YOU” until it can see you clearly.
- Start squatting. The big number counts each rep, with a ding and a buzz.
Tips for accurate counting
- Make sure your hips and knees are visible — don't crop your legs out of frame.
- Good lighting helps the body detection.
- Go to full depth on each rep; shallow bobs are intentionally ignored.
